Phew, that was close. I very nearly just purchased a Magic Bullet. I was ALMOST convinced that I need it. I mean, it's magic right? No more onion fumes, juice from exotic fruits in seconds. Then I looked at the wrinkled avacodo and browning banana in my fruit bowl. Not very tempting.
I also remembered this...
...the rusting and tortured Ab King Pro in the corner of the yard that the sun never touches. Occasionally used to hang washing on and only once used for an actual sit-up. This was purchased in a 3am, baby feeding, infomercial delirium. Those 40+ minute propoganda machines that saw George Foreman telling me, a vegetarian, that I needed his grill for my steaks. He nearly had me, why wouldn't I want one? I can't believe his grill wasn't already in my life.
Don't get me started on the Ped Egg.
So, have you ever succumbed? Tell me, have you ever purchased from an informercial? Who is wearing a Snuggie right now?

have thought about the h20x steamer. My mum got one and I don't think it works to well. Thin Lizzy I luv luv luv my thin lizzy, but wasn't to fussed on the Ahh Bra that came free. Now everything is available at Big W
I'd love a hand held steam cleaner but watching the guy on the informercial clean the toilet...YUCK!!!! The muck just sprays away - most likely all over the floors and walls!
It made doing the housework twice as long coz it took forever to get the steamer to do what the ad say it does. I sooo wanted one too but not know

I would never buy anything from an infomercial, because it almost always pops up in the shops and much cheaper too-plus you can see and touch it before you make a non rushed decision to buy. Like the instyler, which is now also available at 2 department stores cheaper-Big W and KMart.

Ooohhh...too often. I have a Magic Bullet (which I absolutley LOVE and we really do use it everyday. The only person who likes it more than me is my husband...), have tried Sheer Cover, Thin Lizzie, Nude Mineral make up (which I like), Klevasharp (again, love it) and I have one of those stone pans (good but certainly not great). Yikes...didn't realise I'd succumbed so often.

My 3y/o Cael always wears his dressing gown backwards. Poor kid, he's a little too late, he could have been rich.

oh and a cheaper (homeart)magic bullet type of blender, about the 7 time the plastic holder base that the bullet goes into went from soild plastic into powdered plastic so we couldnt use it!
I think that's where my MIL got a "Magic Bullet" from as a gift for us and it was totally bodgy! The stench of melting plastic when we turned it on was so totally overwhelming that we never ended up using ours either!

Snuggie, I love it Rebel! In the infomerical they had a guy wearing one at the footy. Not sure if my husband would be so keen to bring that near the Collingwood cheer squad.
I see the ads and so want the product but I have never brought any at that time. The savvy me usually waits until a cheaper version comes out and I usually try that one first. I have rearly found that the product is actually any good but I did buy the Natural Glow fce pwder minerals when they came off the infomercials and hit the stores and I sure wasn't disappointed
I brought a Ped egg from Target and l so didn't achieve any Happy Feet
