Our Mums Say members are trialing the Bubbaroo Joey Swag sleeping bag - You can read their reviews below!

Safely to sleep. Sleep time has never been this easy (for newborns to 3 years).

Bubbaroo Joey Swag sleeping bags are a safe alternative to top sheets and blankets.

The Extra Heavy-weight Joey Swag is ideal for Winter and cool room temperatures, keeping your bub cozy and warm all night long, plus, a convenient travel system is also great to use when you’re out an about in the pram.

I have been trialling this sleeping bag for a while now and my daughter loves it. It's such a great quality and so easy to care for. She likes the freedom of movement in it and has very good sleeps. I would highly recommend it.

I was a bit hesitant at first, thinking my boys (ages 1 1/2 and 2 1/2) wouldnt like not being able to walk in the suit, but they love it!!! they fight over it! i'm gonna have to buy another one lol. Who ever wears the suit sleeps the best at night, and its a relief to not have to get up during the night the re-cover them! I love the quality in the suits and they look fantastic. I want one myself!!!

Have been trialling the swag for a few weeks now and we love it! My 2.5 year old daughter is in the 3-6 year old swag. She loves to climb into it for every rest time and loves doing up the zip herself. It keeps her nice and toasty during these cold nights and in the morning she is able to unzip herself if she wishes.

It is of high quality, and I would be very surprised if it didn't last for my son (now 14 weeks) to use when he is her age.

Thanks Kidspot and bubbaroo, very very pleased!Cool

We have now trialled for five days and love the joey swag. I was initially hesitant to put her i n over night [purely out of habit] find that she wakes warm and she has not kicked the covers off. Its great for the morning bus run, if she is asleep, I can transfer her from bed to the pram - and she is secure and snug as a bug even when its 5' as it was this morning.

I like the quality of the fabric and stitching, a product that will last.'

    Thank you for the opportunity.

I washed my extra-heavy weight sleeping bag on saturday as it was meant to be a nice weekend in melbourne where i am and as i thought without using a clothes dryer it did take over night to dry. While the outside was dry by late afternoon the lining was still a bit damp. I turned it inside out and hung inside to finish drying. This was no real fuss for me as i often have ordinary clothes that dont dry in 1 day. So am pleased that it was dry to use for my babies morning sleep on Sunday.

As with ms15092 I too use a thermometer in babies room and have to admit that i did not go completely by the guide on the packaging and door hanger. I thought i should add this. I still dressed my daughter as i always would in a singlet/sleeveless bodysuit and a long sleeved all-in-one suit, i also used a sheet and light cotton blanket over her with a room temperature of approx. 18deg overnight. I wouldnt neccessarily recommend this, my baby sleeps cold, so you would need to determine whats best for your baby and be sure that you dont over heat them of course. As i said in my review though she slept on her back all night in 1 spot and didnt make a sound, best weeks sleep we've had for months.

Thank you to Mums Say and Bubbaroo for the opportunity to trial the Joey Swag. I received an older baby joey extra heavy-weight sleeping bag in cherry stripe for my 10 month old daughter and have been trialling it for the past week.

First of all, the sleeping bag is of high quality construction and has really nice finishing. The fabric of the extra heavy-weight is quilted and is almost as thick as a doona. The bag fastens with a double zipper down the front which is for the travel system (see below), but is also useful if you have to change a nappy in the middle of the night - you can keep the top part of your baby warm and covered and just unzip from the bottom to access the nappy.

The sleeping bag also has a travel system so you can put a harness through it - this was particularly useful when we transported my daughter home after going to a friends place for dinner as we didn't have to disturb her by taking her out of her sleeping bag.

The packaging for the sleeping bag has a temperature guide which suggests suitable clothing for the baby depending on the room temperature. I have a thermometer in my daughter's room so was easily able to adjust her attire accordingly.

My daughter has slept in the bag overnight several times over the past week (it has been a bit too hot overnight some nights). On those occasions, she has slept well and is very warm and toasty in the morning when she wakes up. The material is lovely and soft on the inside and she looks like she is wrapped up in a doona when wearing it! She tends to travel around her cot at night and it is really hard to keep her covered with blankets so this sleeping bag is perfect for colder nights - it gives me a better night's sleep as well as she doesn't wake up cold after getting out of her blankets.

I would highly recommend the Joey Sleeping bag to others because of its high quality and its added bonus of a built in travel system - something my husband and I didn't appreciate until we needed it!

Thanks again to Mums Say and Bubbaroo for letting my daughter and I trial it.

received my Bubbaroo Joey Swag yesterday, loved the quality of the fabric. She slept well in it today, love the zipper and harness slot  means we shall be able to go walking in the pram and she'll keep warm [does not keep socks on]. I resorted to our usual sleeping method  tonight, being day one and knowing how cold tonight is going to be I found it hard not too.

I will see how we go over the next few days  ... thanx xx

ok well its friday and this is our 5th night with the bubbaroo joey swag. When I opened the packaging and pulled out the joey swag i was really impressed. It felt so great, had a nice soft and warm feel, though i did find the jersy lining a bit cold to touch initially. The quality is quiet good, seams are well sewn and the fabric is soft and smooth but seems durable. With a double zipper down the front it is so simple to use and easy to put on bub. I think the hardest thing is getting used to the extra long length of the sleeping bag (6-18mth size for my 9mth old). At first i was a bit unsure about the size as my baby is only 7kg but about 69cm, so almost outgrown the bubbaroo recommended length for the smaller nb-6mth size. I felt the headhole was a bit big for her but i haven't had any issues and she has been sleeping much more soundly (and on her back rather than tummy) in the extra thick 3.5tog swag than without it.

I think my favourite feature of these bags is the opening for a harness so they can be used in the car or pram. Having said that i dont think i'd use it in the car for long trips due to the thickness, but it was definately great in the pram yesterday, and while my baby didn't go to sleep while we were out she was much closer to it than usual and may have droped off if i pulled the cover over our pram.

The only thing i haven't actually done is wash the joey swag, as being the extra thick 3.5tog i am a bit concerned about how long it might take to dry without being tumble dryed. I can only line dry the item so i think it will be an early morning wash item and possibly an overnight dry but being a nice weekend where i am i will see how it goes and post my result.

I would definately recommend these sleeping bags, they seem really great, good for this time of year, easy to use and most of all no hazards, ie. poppers that can come off while bubs sleeps.
