We heard in April that Katherine Heigl and Josh Kelley adopted a second daughter, and we've been waiting to hear what they called her ... and now we know.
Life & Style Weekly have revealed that their baby daughter's name is Adalaide Marie Hope.
“You can’t help but be overcome with emotion,” the actress told the magazine about bringing Adalaide home. “There were some tears and a lot of giddiness and joy.”

I wouldn't call it Australian because it's not 'Adelaide'.
I love it and how it is spelt, I dont like to spell names the normal way like My daughter her name is Sienna but i spell it Siennah.

Teehee, I agree on the wrongness of the spelling. (look at all of us "outraged" aussies... "That's not how you spell "Adelaide!!!!" :P)
I had a Cabbage Patch Kid when I was little and her name was Trudy Adelaide :) Still holds a place in my heart!

I have a cousin named Adelaide and quite like the name.
Yeah, nice name but crap spelling (jeez, look at me, so judgemental!!). Adal-aide sounds too much like a bogan Aussie twang, I like Adelaide better. I kinda have these images of her saying "Grouse mate, my name's Adalayd." I know she'll have a Californian twang, not some Western Suburbs drawl, but still.........
